Corona Test Station
In the passenger terminal, COVID-19 can only be tested by people entering from Corona risk areas. The opening hours are based on the arrival times of flights from the risk areas. An overview of the Corona risk areas can be found on the website of the Robert Koch Institute (please see link below).
Information about the test result
In case of a positive test result for COVID-19, you will be notified immediately by the public health department of the Rhein-Hunsrück district, which is responsible for the test station at Frankfurt-Hahn Airport. If you have not received a test result either via App or from the public health department after 3 - 4 days, please get in contact with them under the tel.-no: +49 6761-82710 (weekdays 8 a.m. to 4 p.m).
As a general rule, the public health office informs those who have been tested positive immediately. This information is given by telephone and usually within two days after the test. People who come from a risk area and have a negative test result are usually informed within three to four days, provided that the tested persons can be reached by e-mail. When reporting a negative test result to persons who have to be informed by post, because they have not provided an e-mail address, the duration of the letter delivery must also be taken into account for this reason.
Information about COVID-19 can be found at the link below. For further information, please contact the general Corona-Hotline under 0800 - 5758100 (Monday - Friday between 8 a.m. - 6 p.m.).
