Concerts in the Warsaw opera are also planned. And in Warsaw the Sunday piano concerts in the Lazienkipark with works by Chopin are also a delight for the listener. Then of course there are more marvellous piano concerts to be enjoyed in the house where Chopin was born, in the nearby town of Zelazowa Wola.

Included among the all-star performers are none other than the James Weidman Trio from the USA and Tomasz Stanko and Leszek Mozdzer from Poland. Until the 29th of August, the "Summer Jazz Festival" will also run parallel to these events - famous names like Bobby McFerrin (on the 7th of July) will be appearing on stage.

The exhibitions on offer include the show "New New Yorkers", which shows the work of Polish artists living in the USA. Important drafts of the star architect Daniel Libeskind (born in Lodz) will also be shown in the Gallery Zacheta until the 15th of August.
