Closure of motorway exit Rheinböllen (B50) North
Hahn airport, 7.11.2006. The National Road and Traffic Department (LSV)’s Montabaur Highways Authority has announced that the Rheinböllen motorway exit on the National Motorway A61, which leads onto the B50 going to Frankfurt-Hahn airport, will be closed from Friday, November 10th, 20:00, until anticipated Sunday, November 12th, around 22:00, for all northbound traffic (towards Cologne/Koblenz). The closure is necessary in order to carry out urgently required resurfacing work.
On those days, all north- and airport-bound traffic will be diverted via the next motorway exit, at Laudert, from the A61. From there, passengers will be redirected towards Rheinböllen where they will be able to rejoin the B50 in the direction of the airport to get them to their destination. Passengers heading north from Frankfurt-Hahn airport will be redirected to the Laudert motorway exit by diversion U99 that will be clearly signposted. The airport operator would like to ask all passengers to allow extra time for their journeys to the airport.
The LSV Montabaur Highways Authority would like to thank all motorists and residents affected by the works for their understanding and patience.
