Results summer holiday 2024: Hahn Airport increases passenger numbers by almost twelve per cent

TRIWO Hahn Airport looks back on an extremely successful summer: in July and August, the main holiday months in the German federal states Rhineland-Palatinate, Hesse and Saarland, almost 382,000 passengers used the airport. This corresponds to an increase of around twelve per cent compared to the previous year. "The peak summer holiday season exceeded our expectations," says Rüdiger Franke, Managing Director of TRIWO Hahn Airport.

The most popular destination for Hahn passengers in July and August was the holiday island of Palma de Mallorca, Spain. TRIWO Hahn Airport counted around 30,200 travelers on this route. On the route between Hahn and London-Stansted, the figure was around 29,300, with the Spanish city of Gerona in third place with around 21,100 passengers.

"The good figures in July and August give us a further boost in terms of passenger numbers. They also show that the growing offers are very well received by travelers," says Managing Director Franke.
