Half-year results 2025: Hahn Airport increases passenger numbers by over 20 percent
TRIWO Hahn Airport experienced a successful first half of 2025. From January up to and including June 2025, the airport served over one million passengers, marking an increase of more than 20 percent compared to the same period last year. The airport was also able to increase its cargo business, handling more than 50,000 tons in the first six months of 2025. This represents an increase of around 2.5 percent compared to the same period last year.

Hahn Airport expects around 380,000 passengers during the summer holidays
The summer holidays begin in Rhineland-Palatinate, Hesse and Saarland on July 7th. During the holiday months of July and August, TRIWO Hahn Airport is expecting around 380,000
passengers to take off or land from there - and the airport is well prepared for this influx of travelers. “Together with our partners, we are doing everything we can to offer our passengers a relaxed and comfortable start to their vacation,” says Ruediger Franke, Managing Director of TRIWO Hahn Airport. With a main catchment area of around 200 kilometers around the airport, Hahn is the ideal hub for air travel to popular destinations around the Mediterranean Sea, on the European mainland or to North Africa.

Expanding summer flight schedule 2025 at Hahn Airport
New destinations have been added to the 2025 summer flight schedule of TRIWO Hahn Airport. Since June, travel enthusiasts can now also fly twice a week from Hahn with Ryanair to Rijeka, Croatia's enchanting port city. The Irish airline is now also once again serving the destinations Zadar (Croatia), Chania (Crete, Greece) and Alghero (Italy), which are already known from summer 2024.
