On schedule at the F1 weekend: express bus to the Nürburgring
Hahn Airport, 8th July, 2009. For motor sports fans who wish to experience the fascination of Formula 1 at the Nürburgring at close quarters, the Rhein–Mosel-Bus company is running an inexpensive bus shuttle from Frankfurt-Hahn Airport between the 10th and 12th of July, 2009. There will be connections from the Rhineland-Palatinate airport to "green hell" several times a day throughout the whole of the race weekend.
Off to the longest racetrack in the world!
The transfer bus to the Nürburgring leaves from bus stop six in the airport bus station on Friday at 8.30 am, 11.30 am and 4.00 pm. The bus arrives at the Nürburgring Welcome Centre in just one-and-a-half hours – without a pit stop. On Saturday the shuttle links the airport to the longest racetrack in the world at 8.00 am, 11.00 am and 4.00 pm. The starting times on Sunday are 8.00 am and 11.00 am. And of course the Rhein-Mosel-Bus company also brings its guests back to Frankfurt-Hahn Airport. The departure times from the Welcome Centre at the Nürburgring are 4.30 pm and 5.30 pm from Friday to Sunday.
Cheap parking at Hahn and cheap bus travel!
If you use your car to get to Frankfurt-Hahn Airport to catch the shuttle to the Nürburgring, you can leave it in car park P7 for just €2.50 a day. Adults pay €15 for the single bus journey and €25 for a return. For children between 6 and 14 years the ticket costs €9 one way and €15 return. Children under six years travel free.
