If you do not arrive in the departure gate in time, as printed on your flight ticket, you will not be allowed to proceed to boarding. Closure of the B 50 from Trier in the direction of Hahn Airport

Due to clearing work, the section between Kreisstraße 74 (Büchenbeuren) and Landesstraße 182 (Lautzenhausen/Hahn Airport) will be completely closed to traffic in the direction of Koblenz from Monday, February 9, 2026, for safety reasons during the work, daily from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The closure is expected until February 28, 2026. A diversion via Büchenbeuren has been set up for traffic heading towards Koblenz and is signposted. The Hermeskeil direction remains open to traffic.

Please allow a extra time for your journey to the airport!

New destinations in the summertimetable 2026

From 31 March 2026, Wizz Air will once again offer flights to Tuzla in Bosnia and Herzegovina from Hahn Airport – every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.

Ryanair will launch its flight connection to Rabat on 1 April 2026. The capital of Morocco will be served twice a week.

Ryanair Baggage-Self-Check-In

Ryanair passengers can now use the self-check-in service for baggage drop-off in our passenger terminal.
This is available from 2 hours before scheduled departure.
 
The requirements are:
- Updated Ryanair app on your mobile phone
- Bluetooth must be enabled on your mobile phone
- Location sharing must be enabled
 
Simply hold the barcode found in the Ryanair booking in the app up to the scanner. The system will then guide you through the check-in process in the app.
After weighing your baggage at the self-check-in, you will receive a self-adhesive baggage tag, which you must attach to your baggage. Your baggage then only needs to be handed in at an open check-in counter.

Ryanair now only accepts digital boarding passes

Important notice for all Ryanair passengers: Ryanair has switched completely to digital boarding passes and no longer accepts printed boarding passes. From now on, all passengers will receive a digital boarding pass (DBP) in their Ryanair app when they check in online.
 
All Ryanair passengers will continue to receive an email reminder to check in online 48 and 24 hours before departure.
 

Terminal reconstruction

Anyone currently passing through our passenger terminal will surely have noticed the many construction fences. Our team and our partners are working on the planned terminal reconstruction. Among other things, areas such as arrivals and departures are being centralised and security checks are being modernised in order to offer our passengers smoother processes, greater comfort and even better service in future.
 
Until completion, we apologise for any noise and dust nuisance and thank you for your understanding!

Tips for a stress-free start to your holiday

We would like to ask all passengers to plan more time for check-in and security checks. Therefore, we recommend arriving at the airport 3 hours before scheduled departure. In order to start your holiday relaxed, please note the following tips:

- Check that your ID-card is valid and that you have all the necessary travel documents to hand.
- Reserve your airport parking space online in advance: Hahn Airport (hahn-airport.de)
- Use the online check-in of your airline.
- If you already have a boarding pass and do not check in baggage, go directly to the board of control.
- To speed up the security check, please take only one piece of hand luggage with you.
- For hand luggage: Liquids and creams (up to 100 ml per container) must be packed in a 1-litre plastic bag. At the security check, please present this bag separately, without being asked, together with your technical equipment.
