The employees of a dedicated Technical Services department ensure the smooth running of Hahn by providing heat, water and telecommunications.

Not an easy task! Especially bearing in mind that there is a large variety of requirements, from flight operations to industrial enterprises.

With a largely independent energy supply, we can offer one-stop solutions for all your needs.

Water / wastewater

The Hahn Airport association has taken care of the operation of water supply and wastewater treatment in the public area. The technical department is responsible in the security area.

Heat

The modern heating power plant with a boiler capacity of 12 megawatts is fully automatically controlled through a central operation plant and works with pollution free natural gas. Heating oil is only used as a backup to cover of times of peak electricity usage. The heat is delivered to the end user through a 9.5 km long mains network.
