Parking now even easier with the free VIP shuttle

Frankfurt-Hahn Airport is introducing even more new parking services. From today airline passengers who leave their vehicle in P2 can now ride to the terminal on a free shuttle bus. To date this was only possible from P7. Just yesterday the airport management announced it was cutting prices for P2. Another new feature is being able to gain access to the parking area using your credit card. This saves parkers the walk to the ticket machine.

"These new facilities make parking for our guests even easier; the holiday starts as soon as you get to the airport", says Jörg Schumacher, Management Spokesman of Flughafen Frankfurt-Hahn GmbH. "The new VIP shuttle at P2 collects passengers and their luggage in the car park. There's no need to go and wait at specially designated bus stops. The bus seats eight and runs between five o'clock in the morning and one o'clock at night."

Another improvement is in the method of payment. Drivers who insert their credit card into the ticket slot at the barrier instead of taking a ticket on entering the car park can pay the same way on exit. "Long walks to ticket machines are now history", Jörg Schumacher happily exclaims. All major credit cards are accepted, such as American Express, MasterCard and Visa.

New parking fees are also valid at Hahn as of today. The fees for P2 and P7 have been greatly reduced and the daily tariff for short-term car park P0 is also cheaper. You now pay €2.50 per day to park in P7, with P2 costing €7 a day and P0 €18 a day. Parking spaces in P2 and P7 can be booked in advance on the airport website, www.hahn-airport.de.

"Our new parking concept is even better tailored to suit our customers' needs. And once again our 'Park cheap. Fly cheap' motto is paying off. Parking at Frankfurt-Hahn Airport is now cheaper than almost anywhere else – and at the same time services have improved", explains Schumacher.
