B50 Closure between Simmern-East and Simmern-West
The Landesbetrieb Straßen und Verkehr (LSV) office has announced that the B 50, between junctions Simmern-East (Simmern-Ost) and Simmern-West, will be closed from Saturday, October 14th, 14:00 until Sunday, October 15th, 22:00. The closure is due to the demolition of a bridge located on this section of the motorway.
On the above dates, traffic diverted in the direction of Frankfurt-Hahn airport will go through Simmern town centre and will be signposted in the same way as the diversion taking traffic in the direction of the federal motorway BAB A 61, which will go through Holzbach and Riesweiler. The airport operator is asking passengers to allow extra time for their journeys to the airport.
The director of LSV Bad Kreuznach, executive civil engineer Norbert Olk, would like to thank in advance all motorists and residents affected by the works for their patience and apologises for any inconveniences caused.
